Miguel is a Civil/Structural Engineer, with more than ten years of experience designing residential, office, and industrial buildings, including the design of foundations, steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, and masonry, applying seismic design solutions.
He has applied his engineering expertise in forensics to determine the cause of failure in civil-related losses, leading and assisting the team in estimating the repair cost, overseeing the whole process from the project management to the on-site visit, and delivering the reports to the clients. He has also investigated the cause of fire for various insurance claims in LATAM.
Miguel has both forensic engineering and business development responsibilities stemming out of Mexico, and focused in LATAM and North America (both on insurance claims and expert witness work).
